Love One Love All Club 24 Plus Valentine’s Day Party

HOUSTON: Club 24 Plus kicked off its 2015 event calendar with a fun filled Valentine’s party. In the elegant ambience of the Sweetwater Country Club, the organizers made an early start to create a pretty pink and red backdrop to celebrate the festival of love and friendship. The social hour started with pictures taken of couples dressed in themed attire with a beautiful red flower backdrop. Gentle mimosas and samosas with romantic melodies set the tone. Everyone grabbed the opportunity to mingle with fellow members and then they were guided to their beautifully decorated tables.
Asha Dhume, President, Club 24 Plus welcomed everyone by giving a brief description of the charter of the Club. “It is a social club with a difference, with Philanthropy and outreach to the mainstream community as the core ethos of the club.” She outlined many exciting events for the rest of the year and thanked the members for their enthusiastic participation.
It was game time thereafter! In a congenial mood, the men rolled back the years with romantic Bollywood one – liners. The ‘Knots’ game had the couples in all sorts of funny contusions, despite the simplicity of solution. Those who remained sharp through the afternoon grabbed opportunities to gather necklaces in the ‘Taboo’ spell. The games were followed up by a sumptuous lunch that catered to all tastes through the diversity of the menu.
With their introductions, the new members were inducted into Club 24 Plus. The guests were also presented with Valentine Day gift bags.
