Shahid Kapoor’s beard to stay for Rangoon; he will start shooting with Kangana Ranaut in December.
For all the girls who prefer to want Shahid Kapoor clean-shaven will have to remain disappointed for a few more months. For that beard is not going away any time soon. Or at least till the time Shahid Kapoor completes the shoot for Rangoon!
At the recent launch of a song from Shaandaar, Shahid Kapoor revealed that he is growing the beard for Rangoon.The film is directed by one of Shahid Kapoor’s favourite director, Vishal Bharadwaj,
Shahid Kapoor plays a WW II soldier in the film, so that justifies the presence of that beard. Very few films have been made on India’s involvement on World War 2, so that makes us excited for the film.
Another exciting aspect about the film is that he is paired for the first time with Kangana Ranaut. Though Katti Batti had flopped, Kangana Ranaut is still quite popular with classes and masses.
However, that’s not the only special news about the film – reportedly, Saif Ali Khan will also play the parallel lead in the film. This is the first time, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s past and present are working in the same film.
