Andhra Mirchi Radio (AM 1050 Saturdays 12 noon to 3:00 PM) proudly presents an evening of fun with music featuring Tollywood’s young and happening Music Director Devi Sri Prasad at Cullen Performance Hall on July 19th 2008. The event is the biggest musical event ever for Telugu Audiences and the buzz it has created amidst the music lovers is unprecedented. The event also features performances from noted singers, Saagar, Mallikarjun & Gopika Poornima who enthralled the Houston audience previously with their scintillating performance.

Devi Sri Prasad fondly called as DSriP has started his career at a young age of 17 and so far scored music for about 40 films almost all of which have been musical hits. He has the distinction of working with all the top stars of Tollywood at such a tender age. His resume boasts of music score for blockbusters like Jalsa, Shankar Dada MBBS & Zindabad, Bommarillu and Anandam. He recently scored the Back ground music for the much talked about Trilingual film.

Dasavatharam and is scoring music for the next trilingual starring National award winner Vikram and Shriya. DSriP is a great entertainer and has performed to kudos at many events and national award functions. He shares an excellent rapport with the audience and involves the audience in his shows which are always a sellout. He is the much sought after music composer in Tollywood and is expanding his reach to other southern film industries also.

Laughter has no language. At AndhraMirchi we strongly believe the above and work to our best to bring at the least a smile to the listeners through programs that tickles both their funny and nostalgic part. At the very least we provide Fun; Unadulterated, pure and simple fun! Since its inception the show has grown into a benchmark of sorts for other shows and if “Imitation is the highest form of flattery”, well, we sure are flattered. Our tag line is “It’s Chill time” & we take it serious enough and believe that we can spice up your weekend.

The response to the show has been amazing and frankly unexpected. Unexpected in the quantity of the listeners, so early in time, and the knowledge and patronage of audience has been so overwhelming and this has forced us to expand our reach to other southern language and started the TamilMirchi Radio (Sundays, AM 1050, 1:00 to 3:00 PM).

Andhra Mirchi is presenting an unprecedented live concert by the hottest tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad (DSriP) and his troupe of 22 people including singers, musicians and dancers to Houston on July 19, 2008. This concert is a small token of our appreciation to our faithful audience. With the same support we will strive hard to bring about more such shows and other events that spell FUN in caps.
