HOUSTON: A musical tribute to the legendary actors, ANR and Anjali Devi was hosted by Navaragamalika on behalf of Vagdevi Indian School of Music on February 8, at Mayuri Indian Restaurant. This event was held to honor the late legendary actors, Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao who was entitled with the prestigious Dadasaheb Falke Award and Padmavibhusan, and the Telugu Sita, Anjali Devi with a three hour non-stop melodious songs sung by RajaRajeswari Kalaga (Founder of Navaragamalika, a non-profit organization) and other few talented singers like Mahendra Korivi, Krishna Kirthi, Siva Bodagala.

The Navagamalika event addressed by RajaRajeswari Kalaga initiated a social cause, for which the chief invitees of this event like, Pinnapureddy, past president, Ramesh Akarapu, Uma Medi have honored and participated by conveying their best wishes to Navagaramalika and the social cause behind it. They have also offered their full support for its future achievements. The audience also had the opportunity to speak and share their remarkable memories with ANR and Anjali Devi, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the musical night. The musical nite lasted with many of the melodious renditions from the golden hits of ANR and Anjali devi’s movies with spellbound audience.
