Arts Organizations at Houston Arts Alliance Reception

HOUSTON: Two of our Indo American arts organizations were represented at a reception organized by the Houston Arts Alliance at the Wortham Center downtown on Monday, February 29.
Several Board members of Samskriti and Classical Arts Society of Houston were on hand at the reception hosted by the five arts districts of Houston to welcome the newly elected Mayor of the City of Houston and council members. The theme of the reception was “Five Districts, One City”.
The Board members met Mayor Sylvester Turner and some of the councilmen present and made them aware of Indian arts organizations.
