Consul General Harish Honored by the Osmania University

HOUSTON: Osmania Unversity, Hyderabad, India took honors to recognize the Consul General of India in Houston, Paravathaneni Harish, who is an alumni of the University. Harish graduated with an engineering degree from the College of Engineering of Osmania University.
Honoring him for his accomplishments, the Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Prof. S. Satyanarayana presented him with a Distinguished Alumnus Commendation Momento. The founders of Osmania University Alumni Association(OUAU) in Houston presented the Consul General with the momento on July 1, in his office.
Harinath Medi, the President of OUAU, made the presentation to the Consul General, along with the co founders of OUAU, Virender Kumar, Mahendra Korivi and Showri Nandagiri. Harish briefly spoke of his recent experience of visiting the College of Engineering and stressed the need for the alumni to go and teach at the University as there is a dire need for good teachers. He thanked the organizers for bringing the momento from the Vice Chancellor to be presented to him.
