Priyanka Chopra is back and let me tell you, she sure is back with a bang! The actress, who was busy with her American television series, Quantico recently came back to India thanks to the mid season finale, and she did come in time to promote her film, Jai Gangaajal. Priyanka is known to speak her heart out and stand for anything she believes in and looks like she has come to defendSRK’s remark over the whole intolerance debate. The actress, who is currently enjoying her film, Bajirao Mastani’s success, was invited for a chat in NDTV’s townhall. While the actress agreed to participate in it, she also made quite a few revelations about speaking one’s heart out and its consequences.

In the chat held by journalist Barkha Dutt, the Quantico actress said, “My team told me 20 times before coming on your show only that ‘Please be careful. Your team also told me ‘Sambhal ke baat karna‘ (Watch what you’re saying)”. Wow! Being told by several people sure tells us how speaking one’s mind out has become an unconventional risk in the country. Nevertheless, when Barkha asked Priyanka what scared her, she replied, “I’ll be told to leave the country; I’ll be told to apologise publicly, I’ll be called anti-national; I’ll be told ‘Women shouldn’t speak like this!’ and so on.” Rings a bell? The actress was referring to the controversy revolving around Dilwale and the lead actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose film was boycotted by people over certain groups objecting to screen it which was again an outcome of his misconstrued statement about intolerance in the country.
