INVITATION – Brick Puja for Ma Gayatri Temple in Katy

 

In preparation of the upcoming temple of Ma gayatri, the Gayatri Pariwar of Houston will be holding a brick puja ceremony on Saturday, Feb 7th at the Ashta Laxmi temple in Sugarland. The brick puja starts at 4 pm and will be followed by Maha prasad.

Gayatri Pariwar extends a heartfelt invitation to the Houston community to come and be a part of this auspicious brick puja ceremony. One may also write 108 or more Gayatri mantra in red ink, on a piece of paper and bring it to this ceremony. Both the prayed brick and the written mantras will be installed under the murti of Ma Gayatri during the murti installation project.

The location of the upcoming temple is 29104 Park Row in Katy. The devotees are eagerly waiting for the city permits to come through to be able to start the remodeling project of this temple.

The members of the Houston Gayatri Pariwar are very grateful to the Houston community and those from other parts of the country who have helped raise the necessary funds to enable them to purchase the property in Katy. Over a $100,000 in expenses is still expected to occur once the remodeling project commences. Any contribution from the supporters would be highly appreciated and no amount is too small!

Gayatri Pariwar offers several ritualistic services and sanskars to benefit the local community, such as Gayatri Havan, Grih Pravesh sanskar, punsavan sanskar, Naam vidhii, Satya Narayan Vrat Katha and Marraige ceremony. Gayatri Pariwar does not charge anything for any of these services and solely depends on the contribution that comes on its own accord for the services performed.
