Meena Agrawal

It is with great sadness we inform you that Meena Agrawal, Treasurer and Board Member of IACAN passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 around 8 PM. On Wednesday, April 13, 2016 evening she experienced respiratory and heart failure. She was rushed to The Methodist Hospital, Sugar Land. She was in coma and never recovered.

We will inform all as soon as the funeral arrangements are finalized.

She is survived by her husband, Suresh Agrawal, daughters Komal and Sheetal, son-in-law and 2 grand daughters.

A bhajan session was scheduled for Monday, April 25 between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM at Chinmaya Mission, 10353 Synott Road, Sugar Land, TX. The family requested all attendees to the bhajan session or for the funeral to wear colorful dress (no whites) in celebration of Meena’s life.

Meena was a devoted wife, devoted mother and grandmother, and loving sister/daughter to her family. She was a dedicated volunteer of IACAN and other organizations and above all a good friend to all. We will miss her enthusiasm, her commitment to help others, her charming smile and her hospitality.

May the Almighty give her family the strength and the courage to bear this great loss.
