New Temple in Katy Takes Shape

KATY: On November 17, Hindu Temple of Katy conducted a group satyanarayan katha and emerald (marakata) linga rudrabhishek with 110 families for the occasion of kartika purnima and for the benefits of Hindu Temple of Katy.

It was a great event and raised nearly $23000 for the further benefits of the temple. The same amount was matched by Sulabha Hardikar, who is the main donor for the temple.

Sirisharani Gullapalli and Sulabha Hardikar, the founder and president of the Hindu Temple of Katy, are happy to announce that because of the support of all devotees, by May 2014, the temple will be functionable in the new temple land. They would also like to thank each and everyone that supported and played a key role in making this event a great success.
