‘Police Have Nothing,’ Says Attorney of Mom Accused of Killing Son

Six months after arresting Pallavi Dhawan, suspected of killing her 10-year-old son Arnav, Frisco, Texas police have come up with nothing, stated defense attorney David Finn, who has called for an examining trial, scheduled for Aug. 13.

Pallavi Dhawan was arrested Jan. 29 after police found Arnav’s body in a bathtub packed with ice in the Indian American family’s home. Frisco police have stated Dhawan nodded slightly – at the scene of the incident at their home — when asked if she killed her son. The Dhawans have stated this was a cultural misunderstanding and that she did not kill the boy, who suffered from a rare neurological disease known as microcephaly – a small head size which leads to incomplete brain development. He also had a benign brain cyst which could have caused a prolonged seizure….
