Needless to say the workshop was a huge hit with all those who signed up for it. Some die hard Shakti Mohan fans drove down from Dallas and Austin for the workshop. There were two batches on both days for Juniors (8 – 12 yrs) in Batch 1 and Youth & Adults in batch 2. On Day one they learned a Bollywood style dance on the song Malhari from the movie Bajirao Mastani and on Day two they learned a new style called Waacking to the song Dola Re Dola from Devdas. Shakti was very impressed with the caliber of the students, and stated that she was very surprised at the speed the students picked up both routines.
