Sonam Kapoor on Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut spat: I am impressed with the way she handled the situation!
Yesterday, Vidya Balan was very vocal about her support for Kangana Ranaut in her legal fight with Hrithik Roshan. She found it extremely commendable that the actress took a stand for herself because most of the time women do it for near and dear one but not for themselves. She is the first one to openly say what she felt about the actress without commenting anything about the matter as such. And now even Sonam Kapoor admires Kangana‘s stand.
While talking to India Today, Sonam reacted to the legal spat saying, “I did see her interview, I think she is pretty cool. But I don’t know what was going on between Hrithik and Kangana. What happens between two people nobody will ever know. I have grown up with Hrithik and I know the kind of person he is. He is an incredible human being, he is sensitive, he is charitable and kind. I have worked with him. When you grow up with someone, you think the best of them. Having said that, women are persecuted a lot in this country. So as a woman, I would want to support another woman. But as I said, Hrithik is a friend of mine and me being a feminist and a woman. I am torn. I wish I could give an opinion on this since I am known to give an opinion, I honestly don’t know how to answer this question.”
