Akshay Kumar’s Namastey England to go on floors in April 2016
Speculation around Akshay Kumar‘s recently announced film, Namastey England continues to grow by the day. Reason: A new name as Akshay’s lead lady spring up every few days. First it was said that Katrina Kaif would be part of it, then Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha and Kangana Ranaut were said to be approached for the roles. But at the recent trailer launch of his upcoming romcom, Singh Is Bliing, Akshay informed that the lead lady for the film is not yet finalized. While the makers might still be on the hunt for their female lead, what we know for sure is that the film will go on floors sometime in April next year.
In a recent interview with BollywoodLife, when asked about his releases in 2016, Akshay said that at least three for his films will have a confirmed release and one would go on floors, though its release date is not clear yet. Akki said, “I’m working in London for Housefull 3 at the moment. Post this I’ll get back to Airlift and then get on with Neeraj Pandey’s Rustom. Namastey England will go on floors sometime in April.”
When asked if it is likely to release the same year, Akshay jokingly said, “You never know, I might just release another one too after that.”
