HOUSTON: American Society of Indian Engineers (ASIE) hosted Annual Picnic on June 14, at the George Bush park, Pavilion 1 in Houston with a record setting attendance of 100 members and their families.

Picnic has become the signature fun outing event for the group and their families and has become our way of bringing in the Summer festivities. ASIE had food catered from BAPS Shayona restaurant and Mayuri Indian Restaurant. ASIE Board members Mahendra Korivi and Rajesh Tolikonda took initiative and organized a Barbecue grill and it was appreciated by all members and their families. Delicious food was organized by Harshad Patel and his team which included appetizers and desserts.

Ramesh Gunda organized ‘Piniata’ for kids and it turned out to be a hit. Bingo game was moderated by Raj Basavaraju and Divya helped him spinning the wheel and all members enjoyed this game which was organized under the shade. Two rounds of Bingo game was organized and gift cards and chocolates were given to Bingo winners. ASIE members also participated in cricket and it was a delighted event to watch.
ASIE President, Sekhar Ambadapudi thanked all the picnic attendees and informed about the upcoming events, an Oil and Gas Seminar in July, ASIE 20TH Year GALA in September, Annual Diwali Event in October and so on.
