While Ashay is a Gujarati, born and brought-up in Maharashtra, Iyengar did his schooling at the Shabri Vidhyala and Baroda High School in Vadodara.

A Delhite, Ayush’s parents spent have spent a significant number of years in Ahmedabad. Ashay told Mirror, “It is a great feeling to be awarded a gold medal at IIMA. I will be working in India with a top firm. At IIT, the government paid for my tuition. This is my way of giving back to my country.” Ashay said that after a few years of work experience, he would like to start a business of his own. “After getting admission at IIMA, students should not focus on getting gold-medals but on learning from the best.
