HCC Trustee Neeta Sane Files for Re-election

HOUSTON: Houston Community College Trustee Neeta Sane officially filed for re-election to continue to represent the constituents of HCC District Seven.

“It has been an incredible honor to represent the HCC students and the community. I am very grateful for the wonderful support and friendship I have received over the past six years.” said Sane.

In Neeta’s service on the HCC Board, she has worked to launch educational summits, scholarship programs and promoted policies that were essential to the growth and success of HCC. Despite dwindling state funding and a national economic recession, Trustee Sane helped HCC stay focused on getting things done with available resources. Sane has also concentrated on improving academics, workforce training and institutional productivity.

Neeta’s plan is to continue to advocate for policies to enhance student success and to provide the facilities and resources necessary to meet the growing needs of HCC’s diverse student population and the community as a whole.
