Colin Lobo Receives ASTM International Award of Merit

Dr. Colin Lobo, a senior vice president, engineering, at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association in Silver Spring, Md., recently received ASTM’s highest organizational recognition for individual contributions to standards activities, the Award of Merit and accompanying title of ASTM fellow.

A member of ASTM International since 1992, the Indian American received the Award of Merit for his outstanding service to ASTM Committee C09 on Concrete and Concrete Aggregates, particularly for his contributions to specifications for concrete materials, test methods for fresh and hardened concrete, evaluation of data and assessment of laboratories….
