Connoisseurs Club Members Say Slainte in Style

HOUSTON: The Connoisseurs Club (CC) is a social soiree where various persuasions of the excellent delicacies and liquid gold are paired together under engrossing themes. Members dream of eating exotic cuisines and drinking whiskey all the time. The group has already met twice; the inaugural event was held on April 25.

The June 20, meeting took place at Anjali and Abhijit Gadgil’s beautiful residence. On the menu were five different whiskey drinks and wines.

Some of the obiter dictum which members shared, “We try to experiment with differnet types of whiskeys, sometimes a little subtle so you can taste the whiskey at its base and then play around with the flavor profiles, sometimes it is a little dark, sometimes it is a little creamy and sometimes it has a bright bubbly flavor,” said Karim. Atul vir recalled, “CC members had a delightful evening at the memorial area home of Abhijit and Anjali Gadjil.” Ajay Sarpeshkar, said “It’s all about sharing experience, wisdom, food and most importantly good scotch.”

In addition, Atul Vir and Mayur Patel shared about their involvemnets with varoius philanthropic projects. The evening ended with excellent Mediterranean regal dinner arranged by the host.
