Deepika Padukone disappointed at the response My Choice garnered
Deepika Padukone‘s My Choice did not make many rejoice at the prospect. The video directed by Homi Adajania drew a lot of flak. It has even been called sexist by many. Ironically, the video had 95 females from various walks of life, but it is Deepika who was slammed the most. While everyone had their say on the video, we were eagerly waiting for the actress to give her take and finally we have it. It seems the actress too didn’t agree to a few things in the video!
The video sees Deepika in conversation with Anupama Chopra speaking about the My Choice in particular and everything else in general. Deepika revealed that she found the reactions very disappointing at some levels because the intent was clear. When she sat with Homi, she told him that there are a few lines she doesn’t personally agree with. But she didn’t want to mess with a director’s creative piece. She looked at the big picture.
