Ever since Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon went off air in November 2012, fanatics of the show have been badgering the makers about a new second season with the same cast. Well, they might not get to see a second season but they have decided to shoot for a special episode that will have the entire cast reminiscing about the good old times. The loveable jodi of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani will also be there. It will be telecast on Hotstar on November 30.
As TV viewers will know, IPKKD was a cult show. Though it is almost three years since it went off air, fans are still crazy about the lead pair. IPKKD was a love story between the flamboyant ruthless businessman Arnav Singh Raizada and the simple-hearted Khushi. It catapulted its lead actors to instant stardom, especially Barun Sobti, who is a rage amongst women. When Barun had quit the show, fans had reacted strongly demanding his return. When that did not happen, the producers had to wind it up. The second season with a new lead could not match the success of the first one.
