Galson Auto Receives the BBB Distinction Award Again
At the BBB Awards of Excellence luncheon held on May 11, Galson Auto & Body Repair once again received the Distinction Award, held by owner Harjit Galhotra flanked by his wife Seema (on his right) and son Ravi and other staff members.

HOUSTON: The list of companies which are vying for the Awards of Excellence from the Better Business Bureau has grown so much that the annual awards luncheon has been filled to capacity. For the second year in a row, over 1,000 people once again attended the event, which had to be moved to the Bayou City Event Center on Knight Road just south of the Astrodome to accommodate the turnout.
And once again this year, Galson Auto & Body Repair was nominated in its category and its founder Harjit Galhotra and his team were on hand to see what award they would receive. Galhotra was there with his wife Seema and son Ravi, both of whom are active in the business, and other staff members.
The business has consistently won BBB awards since 2005, winning the highest Pinnacle Award that year and again in 2007 and 2014, and the Distinction Award every year in between. Galhotra eagerly awaited the outcome of this year’s choice and was delighted to receive the Distinction Award again this year, though his eye was on the Pinnacle. He has built a remarkable business since he started it in 1993, with the precision that has been ingrained him though his engineering background. Undeterred, he vowed, “We will compete for the award again next year,” with a twinkle in his eye.
