HMSA Donates Tents to Pakistani Hindu Refugees Based at Jodhpur

JODHPUR: On May 18, Hindu Mahasabha of America (HMSA) donated tents to Pakistani Hindu Refugees based at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. A total of six tents were donated providing accommodation relief to eight families out of thirty three who are residing there. Along with HMSA two other American Hindu organizations donated three more tents a day before. The donation event was coordinated with the help from Jodhpur Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal leaders. A total of thirty three families reside at this camp comprising of seventy children, eight women, and ninety men (approx.), as per recent update, hundreds of more families arrived two weeks ago from Sindh Province of Pakistan. The exodus of Pakistani Hindus have exponentially increased in past two years after facing grave Human rights violation in Pakistan. More and more Hindu organizations are uniting to help Pakistani Hindu refugees in India. Along with relief efforts Hindu organizations are also creating awareness of grave human rights violations at federal and state levels at their respective countries including protests at Pakistani consulates to seek immediate Pakistani Government intervention in safeguarding Hindu human rights in Pakistan. http://protestagainstpakistan.com

HMSA previously has also written to Jodhpur district collector to provide safe accommodation. Efforts of Hindu organizations are creating impact, post which Jodhpur district administration allowed shelter to this group, local schools have also come forward to admit young children at their schools.
