IACF Forms New Executive Committee

HOUSTON: The Indo American Charity Foundation is starting of the New Year with several new Board members and a new Executive Committee, it was reported this past week. The new officers for 2014 are (from left) Neeta Balsaver, Treasurer; Dr. Ramesh Cherivirala, President; Dr. Kamala Raghavan, Incoming President for 2015; and Dr. Vanitha Pothuri, Secretary. Outgoing President Murthy Divakaruni was not available for the picture.

“We have many hands-on initiatives planned for this year in partnership with other organizations” said Cherivirala who has also served as the President of the India Culture Center in the past. “We want to build on the strengths of the past 25 years, and are looking for people who are passionate about promoting Education, Family care, General needs , and Health care in the  greater Houston area to be on our volunteer pool to help us”. As in years past, the much anticipated IACF Gala will be held in the Fall and the Golf Tournament as well as other networking events are being planned right now.
