HOUSTON: India Culture Center Houston (ICC) Executive Committee and Chief Trustees had a meeting with the Consul General P. Harish on Thursday, March 5, to discuss wide ranging topics of Community interest. This was the first interaction of the Newly installed Executive Committee with the Consul General. They discussed areas of mutual interest and cooperation for the oldest serving Community organization in Houston.

ICC traditionally celebrates India’s Republic Day and Independence Day in Greater Houston area, to keep the people of Indian origin connected with their homeland. ICC has been a service based organization in the recent years by involving itself in local communities. “ICC celebrated its 40th Anniversary Celebrations in August 2013 and plans to work closely with Partnering organizations like BAPS, Gujarati Samaj, JVB, Indian Senior Citizens, IHA, TCA and many more. We have many versatile and talented Directors on our Board and passionate Trustees this year and we are going to make a difference” was quoted by President Charlie Patel.
