Is Ranbir Kapoor not confident about Jagga Jasoos?

Jagga Jasoos is one of the most awaited releases this year not just because it is an Anurag Basu film (who gave us Barfi!), but also because the film stars B-town’s hottest real-life couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. However, looks like the project isn’t turning out to be as impressive as expected. Why do we say so? Well, it seems that the Bombay Velvet actor isn’t pleased with the product, not the way it is looking right now.

Apparently, Ranbir and Anurag got into a bit of introspection regarding the scenes of the film. The film’s plot revolves around a teenage detective and his search for his missing father played by Govinda, the picturisation involves a lot of animation and VFX effects. Which is why the makers are a little skeptical about the current cut. And before the film goes into post-production, the duo wants to polish all the sequences and might even re-shoot a few scenes if need be.

We hear as soon as Ranbir gets done with hisBombay Velvet promotions, which is set to hit the theatres on May 15, they will begin re-working on Jagga Jasoos. However, before you assume if this re-shooting will again affect the release date of the film, let’s tell you that it hasn’t been delayed. The film is very much on track, aiming to hit the screens on November 25, this year. Kat confirmed the same at a recent event and said, ”Jagga Jasoos hasn’t been delayed as what is being reported, it will release by the year end.”

Looks like Ranbir is working extra hard on his project with ladylove. And naturally, considering that Bombay Velvet has seen such ups and downs and was even being written off by some the Besharam actor would wanna play his cards right next time around.
