Local Girl has a Chance to be Miss Teen Texas

SUGAR LAND: Jahnvi Besherdas, a student at Stephen F Austin High School has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Texas pageant to be held on June 15  and 16,  at the beautiful Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston.  The newly crowned Miss Teen Texas will receive a $1,000 cash award ,  a trip to Disneyland in California to represent the state of the Texas in the national pageant as well as other prizes.

Besherdas activities include being an active member of the National Honor Society, the activities director of the French Club and a member of Naach Houston – a Bollywood Dance studio.  She also enjoys playing bingo and crafting with the elderly at an assisted living center where she is known as the “Queen of Hearts”.  This is not only for her amiable personality but for her drive to become a surgeon one day.  Besherdas is sponsored by Envy Couture by Anil Rana, Indian Spices and Snacks by B.
