North Houston Sai Center Hosts A Unique Unity Event

HOUSTON: The North Houston Sai Center hosted a very special event on the evening of Sunday, May 31st titled ‘Unity- a tribute to Eshwarama and all Mothers.’ Over 125 guests enjoyed the two hour long program which was presented by the Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) children.

The President of the North Houston Sai Center, Sanjay Gupta, welcomed the guests and congratulated them for being present to encourage the children. The program opened with a unique presentation of Multi-faith prayers by the children ranging in the age-group of 5 to 18. He once said, “Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, and let the glory of God be sung in all the languages and a variety of tunes. That should be the ideal. Respect the differences between the faiths and recognize them as valid as long as they do not extinguish the flame of unity.”

After the prayers, children made excellent presentations on the subjects of Unity, Team-Work and Cooperation, which were interspersed with stories, personal examples and quotes from inspiring leaders. These presentations were followed by a very beautiful dance on the song ‘God’s love is so wonderful’, which was performed by the youngest of the lot and stole the hearts of one and all.

Group III students ranging in the age-group of 14 to 16 performed a humorous skit, which emphasized the importance of Sai Spiritual Education Classes (SSE). The audience did not have a choice, but to laugh during their performance.
