More than 400 attendees helped raise over $200,000 for victims of domestic violence at Chetna’s 10th annual fundraising gala, “The Power of 10: Celebrating a Decade of Community Service,” at the InterContinental Hotel in Addison, Texas April 25.
PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the event, while tennis player and philanthropist Vijay Amritraj was invited as the chief guest.
Ann Mukherjee, PepsiCo’s president of the Global Snacks division, emceed the gala.
“This is the most Chetna has raised at any one event in our decade of existence. When such prolific and outspoken figures stand behind our cause and show their support, it sheds a whole new light on domestic violence.
