Radhe.. Radhe.. Dance Ballet This Saturday

PEARLAND: “Radhe…Radhe…– A Story of Love for the Supreme”, the much awaited bharatanatyam dance ballet produced by Global Organization for Divinity (G.O.D.) and put together by young Houston talent will be presented this upcoming Saturday, March 15 starting at 4:15 pm at the CA Nelson Auditorium located at 2337 N Galveston Ave, Pearland TX 77581. Seating for the event will begin at 3:30 pm, and the audience is requested to arrive well on time for the program.

The presentation will be in commemoration of the fourth anniversary of G.O.D.’s prayer house, Namadwaar, located in the Pearland/Manvel area, and is supported by a City of Pearland cultural arts grant through the Pearland Convention and Visitors’ Bureau.
The bharatanatyam dance ballet will depict the divine love of Sri Radha Rani, who stands for the epitome of devotion to God (Lord Krishna). The performance will weave an English narrative with the beautiful classical compositions of His Holiness Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji.
The choreography and music direction have been put together completely by Houston artistes Surabi Veeraragavan and Uma Ranganathan. And the production brings together several young accomplished dancers from the Houston area – Surabi Veeraragavan, Anu Nagasimha, Maya Iyer, Shubha Soman, Akila Raman, Nisha Gosar, Kavya Rajan, Roopa Nagarajan – who are disciples of eminent Houston dance gurus Smt. Padmini Chari and Smt. Indrani Parthasarathy, along with Suwetha Kalyan from Dallas (disciple of Smt. Vani Iswara) and Nrithi Subramanian from Minneapolis (disciple of Smt. Priya Murali).
This unique dance ballet is sure to delight the audience with its spiritual, musical as well as visual grace and beauty. After the dance program, Indian snacks and boxed dinners will be available for sale at discounted prices, courtesy Indy Cravings.
