MMS
Pavan Kriplani, who directed the horror-thrillerRagini MMS, is ready with his next ghost story. Only, it will be a comedy this time. The film, titled Tantrik, will see two leads and Raj Kumar Yadav has almost been finalized to play the protagonist. Sources said Ayushmann Khurrana was approached for the role earlier, but he turned down the offer owing to a deal with another production house.

The screenplay of the film — which will be shot in a hill station — is written by Kolkata boyAnuvab Pal. When contacted, Raj Kumar said, “It’s too early to talk about the project. I haven’t signed on the dotted line yet. But I have worked with Pavan in Ragini MMS, and we share a natural, smooth bonding. He had told me about this film long back. I heard the narration some time ago and really liked the script.

As of now, we are just figuring out the technical details.” Pavan too confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, talks are on with Raj Kumar. We have approached Divyendu Sharma of Pyaar Ka Punchnama fame for the second lead. The film is about zombies, but it has no similarity with Go, Goa, Gone.”…
