Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Haider off to a sluggish start

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Haider has opened at the Box office today facing a clash with Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer glitzy production Bang Bang.

Though critically-acclaimed so far, Haider has unfortunately failed to create ripples at the Box office on Day 1. While we are certain that things will change over the long weekend, the report from the first day says that the film has lower occupancy in theatres than Bang Bang due to its late advance booking.

Haider is not exactly a commercial film like Bang Bang which is why it won’t be as big a crowd-puller.

Trade analysts predict that Haider won’t fare that well in single screens but might pick up with the multiplex audiences over the long weekend…..
