Shahid – new hilarious cop on-screen after Salman, Akshay
Post ‘Dabangg’ series, cops are no more seen in serious and honest police officer avtaar, rather they are seen mocking the ‘khakee’ uniform on screen. After the popularity of ‘Chulbul (Robinhood) Pandey’, it seems fashion for hilarious cops on screen is in.
‘Khiladi 786‘, had Akshay Kumar in police uniform, but one should not forget it was just uniform! In the movie, Bahattar Singh and his family were not cops but were just acting as one. With trailers of ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero‘ out for viewers, Shahid Kapoor seems to be repeating the same, although, this time it is not for the lady luck.
Bahattar Singh had to don the image of a cop so that he finds a good match to marry. But, Shahid Kapoor has altogether different aspirations; he is seen to be a ‘wanna be’ actor and insists on “hero hi toh banna hai.”…
