Travels and Cultures Inspire to Launch Earthredz

HOUSTON: Three friends with different backgrounds, inspired and moved by their travels and exposure to different cultures, decided to combine their talents and passions. Earthredz took its first breath.

Blending cultures, originality and function, we have created a contemporary, unique and affordable collection of handbags, totes and clutches that will appeal to even the most discerning eye.

We use weaves and colors by combining natural fibers with re-cycled saris, hand- loomed Ikat, embroidery and soft leather, all made in India.

Earthredz supports the self-reliance of the underprivileged women of rural India. We encourage them by giving them the tools and opportunity to be able to support themselves and their families with confidence and dignity.

With this in mind, we have started the initiative “Project Loom”.

Starting with one loom at a time, we hope to help these women create a self- sustaining industry that will provide them with a regular income.

For every banana fiber product that we sell, a percentage of the profits will go towards the purchase of a loom Earthredz is going to have its first exhibition and sale as a one day ‘Pop-Up Shop’ event on May 10, from 10AM to 6PM at 2800 Kirby Drive West Ave at River Oaks, Suite B 105.

This Pop-Up Shop concept is an exciting one that provides a platform for new brands to step into the market by allowing an opportunity to setup a shop without having a shop. The ‘shop for a day’ of Earthredz handbags on the eve of Mother’s Day is a prime social event where the customers can mingle with refreshments while making selections from the wide range of beautiful Earthredz products.
