Wazir box office collection: Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar’s film has earned an IMPRESSIVE Rs. 21.01 cr in 3 days!
Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar‘s Wazir looked like an intelligent thriller with some of the best brains from the industry at work in nearly every department. If it had AB and Farhan as the stellar performers, it had Vidhu Vinod Chopra behind the whole film. Someone who gave us a superlative films like Parinda, the expectations were huge but reviews of the film weren’t kind at all. Many called the script really sloppy. But despite all that, the film fared really well over the weekend by bringing in 21.01 cr.
Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Wazir fares well at premium plexes of metros. Sustaining on weekdays is crucial. Fri 5.61 cr, Sat 7.16 cr, Sun 8.24 cr. Total: ₹ 21.01 cr.” As you can see, the film saw a big jump on Saturday after a normal Friday opening. 7.16 cr from 5.61 cr shows the impact it had on the audience. Sunday saw another spike in collection which aided it to sum up the weekend with an impressive number. But as Adarsh remarked, weekdays will decide the real fate of the movie.
